How did you start riding: I was lucky enough to grow up in a family of shredders. My Mom, Dad, and Grandpa would take my siblings and I skiing every weekend when we were younger (Grandpa led the charge, as he had been a professional skier in his younger years.. 'Ski Ballet' and 'Freestyle' were his expertise). As I grew older, opportunities to ski during the week presented themself more often, and I took every one I could get! The addiction had begun.

What makes you smile? From deep days in the backcountry, to landing a difficult trick in an icy halfpipe, any incredible experience I have through skiing puts a massive smile on my face.
How did you start riding? I grew up in a family of mountain enthusiasts, so my parents had me on skis before I can remember. I was put into a race program, which overtime became too restrictive, as what I really wanted to do was go freeskiing with friends. Following my older brothers lead, I left my racing program, and began competing in park, pipe, and free ride competitions. While all aspects of skiing have a place in my heart, the halfpipe is what really captivated me.
What does being an Obermeyer ambassador mean to you? It is an honour and privilege to be an ambassador for Obermeyer, a company which has revolutionized the gear we use in the mountains for over 70 years. Representing Obermeyer, a true icon in the snow sports industry, gives me complete confidence in my gear while I’m exploring in the mountains, and complete confidence in my style while I’m riding in the park.
What is your go to Obermeyer gear? The Fairweather Shell Bib Pant, with the Forager Shell Jacket, and Klaus’ Down Insulator are the ultimate combo for long days in the backcountry. For colder days on piste, I swap to the Kodiak jacket and Perseus Bib Pant.
