We are a privately held company dedicated to building outdoor clothing for people to enjoy the outdoors and be comfortable while having fun. Because of our size and ability to build to our business forecast and not to stockholder growth expectations we manage the forecast and production tightly. Thereby greatly reducing the amount of excess fabrics, dyes and coatings. When we do have excess fabric, we use it in another style or change fabric types so it can be used with little or no waste. When all else is exhausted we build reusable tote bags instead of destroying or dumping the fabric.

The Responsible Down Standard is an independent, voluntary global standard, The Responsible Down Standard aims to ensure that down and feathers come from animals that have not been subjected to an unnecessary harm and allows companies can choose to certify their products to the RDS. The RDS was developed and revised over three years, with the input of animal welfare groups, industry experts, brands and retailers. The standard recognizes and rewards the best practices in animal welfare.

Elimination of the use of the previous generation of PFCs referred to as C8 or long-chain fluorocarbons, which contain a contaminant called PFOA.  Through the elimination of PFCs from our Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatments and membrane manufacturing we are continuing our commitment to reduce the environmental impact of our consumer products while maintaining a high level of durability and performance.
